Ticket Giveaway for SIFF's MIDNIGHT ADRENALINE series!

SIFF is almost upon us! Scarecrow has been a proud sponsor of their Midnight Adrenaline programming for years, and 2014, the festival's 40th Anniversary, is no different! This year we're giving away a pair of tickets to six of their Midnight movies. To enter, just send an email to scarecrow@scarecrow.com with "SIFF TICKETS" in the subject line, and include your name in the body of the email**. All of the films play at the Egyptian Theater, and they start at Midnight. Here's a rundown of the films we've got tickets to:

Saturday, May 17th  --  WITCHING AND BITCHING

Divorced dad Jose and his pals are on the run after a botched burglary, carrying 25,000 cursed golden rings into Basque country, where a coven of bloodthirsty witches exact revenge on behalf of all women.

A dejected, washed-up horror film actor moves into a decrepit housing estate with every intention of ending his life, but finds that the apartment complex is teeming with bloodthirsty vampires and other assorted supernatural beasties.

An amateur filmmaking crew called the F*ck Bombers use documentary and flash-mob techniques to film whatever mayhem they encounter, stumbling into a gory war between Yakuza factions.

A group of hard-partying college kids have their relaxing riverside vacation turn into a dam shame when attacked by a swarm of the angriest and deadliest of all rampaging ravenous rodents—the Zombeavers!

 

Friday, May 30th  --  DEAD SNOW: RED VS. DEAD

When seven students take a vacation in the snowy mountains of Norway, the last thing they expect is to be confronted by the living dead. This horror-comedy splatter film sequel is exploding with zombie Nazis, gore, sex, and Molotov cocktails.

 

Friday, June 6  --  THE BABADOOK

Six years after her husband’s death, which coincided with the birth of their child, Amelia is struggling to raise her son, Samuel. When a book entitled “Mister Babadook” appears among Samuel’s possessions, it portends a chilling, spectral descent into fear and paranoia.
