DJANGO UNCHAINED--Our resident Quentin Tarantino expert Kevin Clarke says in City Arts that Django Unchained, like all of the director’s films, “is a profane, anachronistic, hilarious, bullet-riddled blast of pure cinema.” Jamie Foxx, Kerry Washington, Samuel L. Jackson and Leonardo Di Caprio star in this Oscar-winner for Best Original Screenplay and Best Supporting Actor Christoph Waltz. Now it's going to be disappointing when Waltz makes a movie with QT and doesn't win an Oscar.   BLU  @  SALE

SAVE THE DATE—A sweet indie romcom about family, marriage, and rebounds with an excellent cast featuring Alison Brie from Community, Geoffrey Arend, Mark Webber, and Party Down’s Lizzy Caplan and Martin Starr.

THE KILLING: SEASON TWO—Detectives Sarah Linden and Stephen Holder uncover hidden conspiracies and shocking revelations as they continue to investigate Rosie Larsen’s murder in this latest season of the gripping crime drama set in the dark and damp Pacific Northwest.

MESSAGE FROM SPACE—Shout! Factory presents Battle Royale director Kinji Fukasaku’s 1978 sci-fi adventure (made in the wake of Star Wars’ success) starring Sonny Chiba and Vic Morrow.  @  SALE

REPO MAN—Writer/director and friend-of-the-store Alex Cox’s 1984 cult classic starring Emilio Estevez and Harry Dean Stanton gets the deluxe Criterion Collection treatment. Spenser says in City Arts that “Cox’s dense, unpredictable vision incorporates social satire, punks, men in black, televangelists, car re-possessors, tabloid newspapers, mad scientists, political revolutionaries and plates of shrimp.”   BLU  SALE
