3D BLU = Available for rent on lovely 3D Blu-ray, though you must have a 3D TV to experience the full glory.

@ = Available for sale in the store (but we can special order anything, see us for details.)

Our online store is nearing the end of its revamp--please email us at or give us a call at (206) 524-8554 if you need to buy something without setting foot in the store.

YOUR SISTER’S SISTER--Emily Blunt and Rosemary DeWitt play sisters who find themselves in a complicated relationship triangle with friend Mark Duplass in the latest from local writer/director Lynn Shelton. In the November issue of City Arts, I said, “Shelton once again shows her strength in showcasing genuine and flawed moments of human interaction, deepened by the talents of the strong cast.” It all takes place amongst the backdrop of the lovely San Juan Islands, beautifully captured by cinematographer Ben Kasulke.   BLU  @

ARTHUR CHRISTMAS—Santa’s son goes on an urgent mission to deliver the last present of the night in this funny, smart, and sweet family movie from Aardman Entertainment (the Wallace & Gromit folks) and featuring the voices of James McAvoy, Hugh Laurie, Laura Linney, Bill Nighy, and Imelda Staunton.  3D BLU  BLU  @
