New Actor's Spotlight: Cheng Pei Pei & Fredric March

Each month Scarecrow picks two of our favorite actors and gather some of their definitive films in a special rental section. Our actors for late October/early November are:

You may recognize Cheng from King Hus' COME DRINK WITH ME (1966), several Shaw Brothers' productions like THUNDERING SWORD (1967) and LADY OF STEEL (1969), as Zhilan from STREET FIGHTER:  THE LEGEND OF CHUN-LI (2009), or as the evil Jade Fox from CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON (2000).

March's six decade long filmography includes THE WILD PARTY (1929), A STAR IS BORN (1937),  I MARRIED A WITCH (1942),  THE MAN IN THE GRAY FLANNEL SUIT (1956), SEVEN DAYS IN MAY (1963), and THE ICEMAN COMETH (1973). He won two Oscars, first in1932 for DR. JEKYLL AND MR. HYDE, and again in 1946 for THE BEST YEARS OF OUR LIVES (which also won Best Picture).

You'll find our full roster of selections for these two actors in the Actor's Spotlight on the shelves to the right of the stairs, just before the Second Take section.
