New Special Section: Actors Spotlight

We're pleased to announce a new Special Section here at Scarecrow. It's called ACTORS SPOTLIGHT. Each month we'll cast our Crow light on actors from around the world and put some of their best films together for your perusal. Our first two actors are:

AAMIR KHAN

Khan began his career in the 1970s as a child actor and has since appeared in such films as Dil (1990), Earth (1998), Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India (2001), Ghajini (2008), Like Stars On Earth (2009), and the recent Bollywood hit 3 Idiots, which we just got in on a PAL import DVD.

FRANCISCO RABAL

There are over 200 films and TV credits in Rabal's filmography, including Luis Bunuel's Belle De Jour (1967), William Freidkin's Sorcerer (1977), Pedro Almodovar's Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down! (1990), and Carlos Saura's Goya in Bordeaux (2000). He died in August of 2001. The Actors Spotlight section is located to the right of the staircase in the first few shelves before the Second Take section begins. We'll spotlight more actors in the months to come.
