Thanks for the tunes Wes Anderson

One of the best things about a new Wes Anderson movie coming out has to be the soundtrack. Every time it's like receiving an awesome mix-tape from an intimate friend. Hey, thanks Wes... I think you're grand too. I was a bit sad to hear that the Darjeeling Limited soundtrack would completely lack Mark Mothersbaugh's original compositions, instead opting for soundtrack music from the films of Satyajit Ray and Merchant/Ivory. And where there is usually a variety of classic rock tunes, this one pulls exclusively from the Kinks' Lola Versus The Powermen. After seeing the film, and how (as usual) wonderfully the music was integrated into the visuals, I no longer questioned any of the soundtrack decisions. I'm listening to it right now, and I just wanted to say again, thanks Wes Anderson.
