Attention Twin Peaks fans!

Tickets are going quickly for the 15th annual Twin Peaks/David Lynch Festival. It's Friday, July 27th at 7:30 pm in the fancy new digs of the Seattle Art Museum. You'll be treated to a screening of a brand new 35 mm print of this film: From the Seattle Art Museum website: The woods are dark with something more than night, but the coffee's hot and Agent Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) and his colleagues (Chris Isaak, Kiefer Sutherland) are on the case. Still, mysteries multiply. Phone lines twitter with extra-dimensional energy; time and space bend; dreams invade reality. Laura's father, Leland, has been monstrously more than himself lately, and angels of deliverance hover near our schoolgirl of the sorrows. As usual, Lynch's images and sounds are hypnotic and exquisite, and Sheryl Lee's portrayal of Laura is movingly monumental. With Ray Wise, Grace Zabriskie, David Bowie, David Lynch, Dana Ashbrook, James Marshall, Moira Kelly, Catherine E. Coulson, Peggy Lipton, Frank Silva, Michael J. Anderson, Al Strobel, Miguel Ferrer and Heather Graham. And if that wasn't enough: There will be rare film/video supplements and special festival guests in attendance. We will also present the U.S. premiere of blackANDwhite's David Lynch documentary Lynch. You can get tickets here at Scarecrow for $6 if you're an esteemed member of SAM, SIFF Group, The Warren Report, or MOHAI (have your active cards ready!) It's $8 for everyone else.
