Don't forget, this is the LAST WEEKEND of our totally out of control USED MOVIE SALE. There's still plenty of good stuff to be had, including a lot of Blu-ray titles. If you're feeling theatrically inclined this weekend, here are some suggestions: TONIGHT FRIDAY, JULY 24th : The Twin Peaks/David Lynch fest we told you about eariler is at 7:30pm at Seattle Art Museum, featuring a screening of MULLHOLLAND DR. We still have tickets here on sale--they're $8 for SAM members and $10 for the general public. TONIGHT & TOMORROW NIGHT: SIFF Midnight Adrenaline series fave DEADGIRL is the late night film du jour at Grand Illusion Cinema. ALSO STARTING TONIGHT: Northwest Film Forum has THE WINDMILL MOVIE, "a heady, fascinating brew that brings together one man's parentage, culture, education and ambition - letting the chips fall where they may" according to their site. Warren Etheredge will host a discussion with director Alexander Olch after Friday's 7pm show. NWFF also has the short film TACO TRUCK about, yes, a taco truck on the Westside of Olympia (hopefully not too close to Capital Mall) and LAKE TAHOE, which The Stranger called, " a refreshing, reinvigorating pause-button on a noisy summer movie season." We've still got some ADMIT TWO passes for it on our front counter (while supplies last!). No matter what you rent/buy/watch this weekend, stay cool out there.
