The guys up at Film is Truth in Bellingham have a blog too. I haven't been to this store yet, but their reviews are informative and they definitely seem to have the same enthusiasm for film we have here at Scarecrow. If you live in Bellingham, or go to school up there, Film is Truth should be where you are renting your movies.
Yesterday, Andrew over there posted a very good and informative review of
What We Want, What We Believe, THE BLACK PANTHER PARTY LIBRARY ; a collection of interviews, archive films, and news reels on the Black Panther Party. This is not a documentary so much as an organized archive that a documentarian might cull from. We carry all the films he mentions in the review at Scarecrow as well, but I really appreciated Andrew's pointing us in this DVD set's direction.
