RIP Charlton Heston
Our wonderful neighbor Cinema Books has this tribute up in their window to the actor, who died Saturday night at the age of 84.

The Ten Commandments and Ben-Hur, Solyent Green, Omega Man and Planet Of The Apes, Earthquake! and Airport 1975, his narration at the beginning of Armageddon and in the documentary Cults: Saying No Under Pressure (available for rent in our Shock section). For years we played the tape of the Charlton Heston Celebrity Shoot on his birthday (where he and famous folks like Luke Perry get together at ye olde shooting range). But all politics aside, the man was indeed a legend.
