Awards Season: This Just In!

Usually by this time of year I'm buzzing with awards show anticipation, but with the writer's strike still in effect I've resigned myself to the fact that there probably won't be any big shows this year. My fears were confirmed just now with the IMDB's post about The Golden Globes--a one hour press conference followed by an Access Hollywood style party show? I'm going to go home and read my Vanity Fair Oscar book and cry.
